The Safety &
Security Office strives to
insure the safety of students, staff,
and visitors on our school campuses.
Cumberland
County Schools work
closely with local law enforcement and
other emergency agencies to insure the safety of
Cumberland County Schools.
The Safety and Security Office is responsible for maintaining a Rapid Response
program for all community First Responder teams. The Safety & Security
Office holds training sessions for all new employees to address
Safety & Security issues, Accidents, Hazardous Materials, Fire Safety,
Bloodborne Pathogens, OSHA requirements and proper procedures to follow
in crisis situations. Refresher training is held annually at each school
for all Cumberland County employees.
Crime Stoppers
is an effective tool for
both the school and community. The security office supports this
program, we
